The first group was a disappointment. Only three performances that I actually enjoyed. I really thought Ricky was going to make top 12, and was surprised he didn't. He was by far the best singer. The only person who made it that I wanted to was Alexis. Also disappointed that Tatiana didn't make it either. She might be a little crazy/annoying, but that's what I like about her and she can sing. I'm hoping Ricky and Tatiana get the wild cards. I'll have to see who else makes it into the top 12 in order to decide if this season will be worth watching.

Out of the first group I really liked Alexis the best! So far, I think she has a good chance of winning it.

I really loved Ricky, too, and was super disappointed he didn't go through. :(

I also HATE how they're doing this part of the show this year, too.

Oh shame of shames... American Idol. I've been obsessively watching but I'm not proud. What's up with choosing 3 to go forward? I was so confused last week! I guess I wasn't paying much attention to the "rules" but I was really surprised to see so many go home at once. I'm going to be watching this week with a much more critical eye...
