Permalink Closed

My hair gets really frizzy after i straighten my hair with an iron.  I dont know if frizzy is the correct term but hair just sticks up maybe due to static?....anyway..what products do you reccommend to put on hair before or after its striagtened to make your hair shiny and smooth? thanks girls!

I really am addicted to this stuff (I have posted positively about it before):

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P9955

It has olive oil, so it gives a nice shine to ends.  I also smooth a bit near my part to eliminate flyaways.

oo i like the sound of that! ive tried the physique hair cream before and it worked well but it made my hair look a bit oily.  Does Fekkai do that to your hair?  i ve dark hair so any oiliness is obvious. I hate flyaways...thats my main problem..thanks i couldnt think of the word

Even though it has olive oil in it, the cream itself is pretty thick so it doesn't make my hair very oily.  I don't use that much though (one tube lasts quite some time).  My hair hits right at my bra on my back and I use prob the size of a dime.

Anyway, I LOVE this stuff!  I recommended it to my friend (who is Asian) and she loved it too (and she has dark hair).

Btw, if you go to Sephora you can ask for a free sample of it to try!

I straighten too, are those for managing frizzy hairs ( hate those), or heat resistent? Any recomendations for heat resistent products?

I'm lucky enough to have a stepdaughter that's a hair stylist and I can empathize with the issue. After trying a pile of products, my new fave is redken wax blast 10. It's like a cross between a wax and a hair spray and has a nice fragrance. I'm super picky about hair product smell and I like this one a lot. Not too waxy if you just use a little to smooth your hair. You could use more to build volume if you want. Provides nice hold and brushes and washes out cleanly, unlike a lot of other wax and silicone products.
