i'm sorry, but i can't find the humor in this- especially since terry passed away earlier today. the whole case was just so sad. that blog is really insensitive.

sfcaligirl gives us a very good example of expressing dissent without using an overt or inappropriate attack, and I respect her for that.

i agree, i happen to agree w/ sfcaligirl, but refrained from posting because i did not want to come off as darlene did. and detroit, is darlene really at the lucky board or was that just a reference to how rude & obnoxious girls can get over there? if it was the latter, i totally know what u mean & am so glad i found FH->ST!

Crystal, Detroit, SFcaligirl, et al., I can totally understand where the astonishment and disgust at such a blog would come from; I am sure we all can. And I can respect that.

I hope you all can also respect that some of us can find humor at the oddest times in the oddest of circumstances, and I don't think that is a bad thing at all. So long as it's not coming from a place of maliciousness I think dark humor is ok. Humor is really just a reaction at hearing/seeing/reading the unexpected. That's all really. And that blog was certainly unexpected, you know what I mean?

yes, she really is over there.

While it's tempting to remove this thread because of the strong divide of opinions regarding this case, I support allowing free speech whether I agree with what is being said or not. I do not support overt or inappropriate attacks though.

There's a lot said on this board that I don't agree with, but I choose to respect everyone for having their opinion whether it is the same as mine or not, and I don't think there is anything to be gained or accomplished by name calling.

It is a facet of human nature to find humor in morbidity. Hence this blog's existence. I would like to see evidence arguing whether it is inherently right or wrong to find morbid humor entertaining... Who wants to give it a shot?
