welcome bex! and welcome back everyone else!! i know what ya'll mean about being sick, my back hurt so much last week i didn't work out at all. now i'm getting back on track too! oh & bex, ur bf sounds just like mine, every weekend when he comes over he tells me to print out recipes & he chooses one & cooks for me! so nice cuz i'm not the biggest fan of cooking either.
ok, i am back. last week and through yesterday, i gave myself a free pass to eat whatever i wanted because i have been so stressed out studying for my finals, and i think that was a really bad plan. the finals start tonight and i am more stressed than ever because in addition to the tests, i am also now stressed-out that i look like jabba the hut--seriously girls, last night for dinner i had a boatload of baked doritos. only. and then i couldn't sleep--it was awful and i have learned my lesson on subsisting on junk food. so i am abandoning that plan and going back to just being healthy.
b: coffee and a n/f yoplait yogurt
s: atkins granola bar
l: green salad w/grilled chicken, a little bit of cheese, guacamole and a small serving of black beans (like 1/2 cup maybe)
s: handful of plain cashews, maybe some sugar-free jello
d: it will be late when i come home from school, so probably just heat up a lean cuisine.
Well I ruined today already and its only 1:45! I knew it was a bad day when I measured out my kashi go lean crunch and had it in the bowl, my strawberries lined up on the cutting board and I went to the fridge to get out the milk and it was all gone!!! B: whole wheat bagel with spray butter, banana S: peppermint mocha frappiccino light L: bagel pizza, bagel chips S: apple D: unsure E: I'm at the rec today so at least all is not lost. 45 min weights lunch got to me so no cardio.
Okay, I sooo didn't run yesterday. Oops! I went shopping instead. At least there was a lot of walking involved and the trying on of shoes. And guess what? NO buying! How good is that? If only I'd squeezed in a run in there it would have been a great day.
B: w/w bread & 2 tablespoons whipped peanut butter & diet coke (I'm going to start writing these down too)
L: fruit bowl consisting of apples, pineapples, and cantaloupe & a boiled egg & mint tea (no caffeine)
S: low-fat yogurt & maybe another boiled egg if I get hungry & a diet coke
D: hummus & pita chips & grapes & cheese & veggies & some kind of low-fat dip (can you tell i'm having guests over?)
E: okay, i really, really want to go for a run but i have to go to the store after work and clean my bathroom before those fools get to my house. What to do? I guess I could go to the store, come home, go for a run, take a shower & clean the bathroom at the same time. It'll be rushed but I bet I can make it! Wish me luck!
