I'm so pissed off! I was SO tired yesterday so I went to bed at 9 and was tossing and turning in bed till almost 11! What do you guys recommend? I dont want to start taking Nyquil, I get addicted. But this is starting to become frustrating, its not the first time!
I have had this problem forever. So far the only thing that worked was being on zoloft (and that made me tired all the time!). But have you done all the standbys? i.e.
-no caffeine 8 hours before bed
-exercise or some physical activity during the day, but not close to bedtime
-no sugar 3-4 hours before bed
-some white noise in the room (fan, clock, etc)
-getting up/going to bed at about the same time every day
-don't read or watch TV while actually in your bed
You may also want to try Melatonin. I can't take the smell, but my dad is a lifetime insomniac and he said it helps a lot.

Has anyone tried valerium root?? Wondering what the side effects are and possible negative interaction with medications. I dont have (thankfully) trouble falling asleep but I know people that do. The few times I have had trouble falling asleep I realized I had taken a multivitamin before bed. I don't think this is a good idea. I thought I was doing the right thing, because taking a vitamin in the morning makes me feel queasy. Soooo.. I take the vitamin at lunch.. when I remember
