1. What is your real job? For me, I'm an attorney in financial crimes.
2. What is your dream job? I wish I was a) a civil rights attorney; or b) a literature professor at a college or university; or c) a soundtrack maker (don't even know what they're called) for movies and/or television.
my real job: i work at a medical school research center- admin asst
my dream job: i hope to one day own my own small chain of boutiques! i've also always loved the idea of becoming a florist.... how fun would that be?? surrounded by beautiful flowers all day...
dream job: owning a mammoth retail corporation that includes h & m esque stores, and a couple of small boutiques. a key element in this fantasy is being able to walk to work.
dream job: financial planner or something in financial industry but i love telling people what to do w/ their money (like i'm oh so knowledgeable!). i'm taking businessy type classes at the local JC in hopes of one day going to grad school in finance.
Honey - you HAVE to walk to work? That's hilarious that walking is a part of your dream job.
Maddie - a whale trainer? I'm impressed. Maybe you could set up a camera, train your whale, stand atop him/her in a Gucci frock and a handbag of your own making, and take your own picture which you will submit to NG and grace its covers. What do you think?
Andrea Julia - god, I'd hate to be Paris!!! You'd have to be on some crappy reality television show to be any good at being a socialite. I bet you could do it with a smile though!

Real Job: Manager/Visual Merchandiser for a major retailer
Dream Job: Boutique Owner (eventually would turn into a chainlet of boutiques in a concentrated area--wherever I end up settling down), Graphic Designer, Fashion Writer, Jewerly Designer (I guess I do two of those things, well 3, sort of, but I don't have Photoshop and Illustrator on my home computer, so it makes it difficult and I don't make nearly enough to pay the bills with those--yet!).
Ideally, I would love to work mostly from home or else have my office/boutique no farther than a block away. Honey, I understand about wanting to walk to work!! Commuting bites!!
