B.A. in Religion; Getting my M.Ed. in Communication Disorders which will make me a Speech-Language Pathologist.
I worked in a shop between college and grad school. When I am finished I will be able to get a job pretty much anywhere--SLP's are in demand. I will probably be working on speech and language disorder with preschool kids, but I am thinking about specializing in neonatal care (mostly swallowing) after I practice for a few years.

2. In law school - but worked eight years as a journalist, five of them as a food writer at a top-50 newspaper. Didn't use the major, and had to explain it in every interview.
work -- i work as a paralegal so technically i'm in my field, but pretty much anyone can do what i do. it just requires relatively basic analytical skills and the ability to write.
i'm actually planning to go back to school in the next year or so and learn stuff that will help me pursue my dream job.
BA in communications--specialization in TV production, also a BA in journalism-specialization in electronic media Masters in English
For five years a was a television sports producer...I got burnt out fast, would like to go back to it some day...now I am an account executive at an advertisng agency

i have a BA in psychology, i started out double majoring in psych and theater but gave that up, and i almost minored in Spanish, until I got to the more advanced classes, so no minor, unless you count drinking
2. What job do you currently have?
trained monkey. no seriously. i have been working in a medical library for almost 3 years now, and you might not expect it, but this place could suck the soul out of you. thank god i'm quitting in exactly 43 days (but who's counting?). over the summer, i plan to put my bachelor's degree to really good use by planning my wedding, moving and redecorating my new apt., and just generally being a layabout/Stay-at-Home-Fiancee. after that, i will probably need to get a job, hopefully one i don't hate, and that utilizes, if not my degree per se, at least some of my skills. and then finally, next year, back to school, for a masters in school counseling.
1. My BA is in art history but I had enough credits to get a major in history. I was just too lazy to write two theses. I guess my unofficial minor was Classics.
2. I'm a librarian in a law firm. Not a direct use of my degree but more interesting and better-paying than being a glorified secretary in a musem or whatever other sort of job I could have gotten straight out of college.
1. Double-major: English/American Studies and Communication Studies.
2. I work as an assistant at an entertainment law firm. It's kind of a stretch to say that I'm using my degree, but I do like my job and it pays way too well to leave. I am a few days away from finishing up my paralegal certification, so that's a step in the right direction.
3. I'm about halfway through my Master's in psychology and would like to go back and finish up, but I don't know where the money is going to come from. I'm also pretty nervous that it would take several years for me to be able to make even a meager living as a therapist, so the going back to school plan has been put on an indefinite hold :(
Degree: BA in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising; Concentration in Magazine Journalism
Current Job: I work as the Gate Keeper in the 9th Circle of Hell. Seriously, I'm in retail management/visual merchandising and I'm none too thrilled with the land of retail. Can't wait to get out. I have my side gig as a jewelry designer, but that's on haitus for the moment until I get my new computer (should be within the next couple of weeks). I would love to do that full-time, but I'm not there yet.

ugh! I hated organic. Or better, the teacher hated me... I give you a lot of credit for that!
