MAC Studio Tech compact foundation for everyday, Armani Luminous Silk liquid foundation for going out. I always get compliments when I wear Armani Luminous Silk, even though people can never pinpoint what it is. It really is the holy grail of foundations!
95% of the time, it's Shiseido's The Makeup stick foundation. Lovely stuff.
When it's twenty trillion degrees outside, I wear Bare Escentuals because I'll be an oil slick otherwise. But I'm wanting to try the Shiseido powder foundation.
i have to third the armani luminous silk recommendation. i only really wear foundation for special occasions, but this is what i wear and it looks like i don't have any on, which is what i prefer. it's very light.
i use the shiseido powder foundation and i love it! the coverage is perfect (my mom always comments when i have it on). i like the fact that its a powder so i dont have to mess with all the blending issues with liquid and its really easy on the go.
i also trade on an off btwn shiseido and bare escentuals. the thing is, i've noticed that i look incredibly oiler when i use b.e. then when i use shiseido. could it be something i'm doing wrong like putting on too much? i hate how shiny i look when i use b.e. can you offer me some advice on what i can do to curb this? like, how much is the correct amnt to use? i dont want to give up my b.e. bcs it doesnt break me out.
stila tinted moisturizer in the winter, and stila illuminating powder foundation in the summer. I use both together if it's a big event or a bad skin day

American Beauty Powder foundation for basic coverage and Mary Kay concealor for my eye circles and acne scars. If I want a bit more coverage, I use Maybelline Dream Mousse.
I just finished up my Trish McEvoy which I love. Now I'm using Laura Mercier. I think I'm going to look for something new after I finish the LM foundation. I love the Trish foundation but I'm going to try to find something a little cheaper.
Right now I'm using Stila Illuminating foundation (the liquid one). I'm pretty impressed, since it blends really smoothly and I can't even see it on my skin when I put it on. I also use Philosophy The Present underneath as a base.
currently i am using bobbi brown tinted moisturizer... but i stopped by the laura mercier counter last night and am now in love with her foundations. i will probably finish up the BB and switch to LM.
I use Flirt love and matteness oil-free pressed powder, but only in the summer. I gave up on foundation a couple years ago, but I liked the Almay touch pad stuff.
I also love Chantecaille Future Skin. It's a buildable foundation. I use this on spots sometimes instead of concealer. I wear this when I want a medium coverage (like for going out or meetings or whenever I want my skin to be all covered and perfect). It's got an amazing gel-cream texture and it's oil-free. This is my stand-by. I have probably been using this on and off since I was about 18.
I recently bought Vincent Longo Water Canvas. It's beautifully sheer, but you go thru it so fast. I think I will use this for summer (since it's so light-weight), but it's really expensive... $52.50 for the Water Canvas refill ONLY! If I used it everyday, I would probably go through one every six to eight weeks. I've tried it with a foundation brush, my fingers, and a sponge.. it just goes too quickly.
i'm not a big fan of foundation because my skin is pretty sensitive and tends to break out. so i just stick to concealer for undereye circles and spots/scars. i've tried quite a few, but i always come back to clinique's city stick in honey.
I'm testing Jane Iredale mineral makeup. It's a powder and so easy to apply. I thought it might make me look too matte but it doesnt. Although i'm dying to try the armani makeup (no one sells it locally), i'm pretty hooked on the coverage and simplicity of mineral makeup.
I use stila tinted moisturizer in light and stila illuminating foundation in 20 watts. They both match my skin perfectly! I will never use anything else.
