i've looked at a few that i found on froogle and pricegrabber and the like, but i don't know if the extra $20 is worth all the bad reviews. i was looking at a couple places like Beach Camera, Butterfly Photo and BuyDig.com but they seem to have spotty customer service from what i've seen on the reviews on epinions, etc. Anyone ever bought from one of these places? Or am I better off just buying from Amazon or Best Buy and avoiding any possible hassle?
i guess i should add i'm also a little leery of getting a refurb and not knowing it.
i bought my digital camera at beach camera last summer. they were great. i got it really fast, the packaging was fine, the camera was brand new and sealed.
my coworker is a real camera buff & he recommended butterfly photo, but i think the best thing to do if ur concerned about a shady company is choose a camera that staples or circuit city (or any reputable company that price matches) carries and price match it to whatever website u have in mind (they only PM legit ones tho, so if they don't PM it's a shady site), keep in mind that they include shipping in the PM cuz for over a certain price, shipping is free. i did this w/ staples and it took me a few tries to find a legit website to PM, but finally they accepted & it's 110% so i saved a bundle!!
Just asked a circuit city employee and he said it depends on the site, the price, and the store director as to whether or not they will price match but they will try. Hope this helps some.
