Overstock: 2 suits for interviewing. The one true "interview" suit I have is pretty formal. So, I found these 2 for cheap...
Black skirt suit
In Charcoal
Then, while I was on the site I decided on: This sterling silver ring I'd been wanting as well as a black blouse I can't find anymore...
Smartbargains: $77 marked down from $394! It's a cashmere cardi that I think will really be useful at work since it's a little suity.
This in black
And, then some items from misc sites that I don't feel like looking up:
A dark denim fitted jacket/blazer Black dress pants for work Some trouser pants that are almost denim but also have a linen effect to them. The fabric is neither denim or linen... a silver bead necklace a springy swingcoat in a turquoise aqua blue and a matching tee to wear under it (I always buy the matching sets but rarely wear them together. I think I like having it in my closet for back up when I just can't be bothered) and a gray shrunken blazer to go with a skirt and pair of pants I already have.
I'm in hire-me mode, hence all the work stuff. I have a second interview in a week, which is what started as one purchase which then became a spree.
Stopped at a Vanity Fair outlet and got a bunch of these in different colors:
(this pic isn't VF, but it's basically the same thing)
I think they'll be good for a layered cami look in the spring and summer when it's too hot to wear a full cami or slip. And they had a bunch of undies on sale for like 50 cents, so I bought a bunch of cute everyday ones
