hmm I am not sure if this qualifies as KILLER...but I got this Frenchi blazer from Nordstrom's on sale this weekend for $36. It was originally $58. But what I think is killer about it is that it fits me purrrrrfectly and it is super cute. I would have been willing to pay tons more for it.
This was my weekend shopping post. I found a lot of great deals. It felt so good to come home with my car FULL of bags (and not too much damage done to my credit card)! _________________________ I had a decent shopping weekend. I bought a beautiful olive green suede crescent bag by Via Spiga at TJMaxx for $38 (the original tag had it marked at $190). I also got a burgundy snakeskin-embossed leather purse by Nicole Miller with bronze buckles for the clasp & attaching the handles to the purse; it was $12!
I went to my fav antique mall (it's called "Brass Armadillo!") with my little sister and bought some great stuff:
bronze abstract screen-print (framed) dated 1968 (no name) $3 drinking glasses with bright colored prints on them (orange, teal & greens) $2 ea. chartreuse (sp?), teal & orange patterned scarf $3 funky 70's teal boomerang ashtray $5 olive green pyrex mixing bowl w/white flowers $8 a few unframed vintage prints & sheet music $3-$5 ea. (I buy sheet music with interesting covers & put them in frames to hang in my house)
and my favorite find of the day at the brass armadillo: an Entienne Aigner dark red leather purse (NWT), $10(!!)
BUT...my biggest scores this weekend were from the consignment shop where I sell my stuff. Not only did they have $65 for me, but I found a beautiful orange Kors by Michael Kors pencil skirt for $50! I know what you all are thinking (orange!?!?!?!?), but the color is amazing (and orange is my fav color) and it fits me like a glove. I also got a brand new pair (with tags) of PDC jeans from here for $20! ___________________________ Check consignment shops for insane deals on designer clothes. I know those kind of stores are up there with thrift/vintage stores, and not everyone likes them, but I love shopping at these places; i can find unique, fun things to add to my wardrobe. Also, a week or so ago, I got a sh*tload of brand new wooden hangers & pants clips at the GAP oulet for 49 cents each. They have "BR" printed on them in small black letters, but i'm going to gently scratch them off (they come off easy). I bought enough to replace all my old mismatched hangers; my closet looks fabulous now!

Too small for you, you tiny thing! Were they size –2? I'm just kidding! That's a great price though! I hope your jeans are perfect!
I found the brown Gucci belt bag at Saks Warehouse for $55. The original price is about $330 or something like that. It was so cheap because it has a little green spot on the back it but no one will ever see it when i'm wearing it. Its not even that noticeable.
This was about a year ago so as you can see I don't come across bargains often.

Ha ha, not quite. What was funny is that they were actually too tight on the hips, and that never happens to me!

Thanks! I don't usually bargain unless there is some flaw in the item. It helps that I have a sweet and innocent face. If I find something I want with a fixable flaw, I will take it to the counter and say, "This dress has a knot in the chain strap. Do you think it could be marked down since I'd have to take it to a jeweler to have it fixed"" (that's what was wrong with my Laundry dress). Something like that. They usually say, "Um, I don't know, a manager has to do that." So my reply is always a sweet "would you ask please?" And I have yet to have a manager say no. I got a coach purse there a few years ago and they took the markdown because the hangtag was missing, and the other day I got a dress that had a missing sash for 10$ off. You should try it--it's a real rush!

wow, i never would have thought to do that at tj maxx.
my most recent killer deal was these shoes i had been wanting at marshalls ($50) that i waited to buy, and when i finally decided i would buy them (it was during the ban, so i had to have a good reason -- my friend's engagement party), they were gone. a couple days later i went to another marshalls a little further away and they had one pair of these shoes left, marked down to $12. they were my size and so mine, and then i realized that one of them was missing the ankle strap.
i bought them anyway thinking i could substitute something else for the strap, but now i realize they could have been an even better deal had i bargained...
well, most recently (like last night) was the Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent sweater I got for $20 (used to be like $120 I think) and this really adorable Max Studio silk polka dot skirt from last spring's collection that I won for $36 (used to be $120). Oh yeah, and the Sevens for $25 from eBay too.
Marc Jacobs cotton scarf $2 Filene's Sp? Joey O grosgrain ribbon striped heels $30, then saw them at Rich's for $160 the same day! Gucci Jackie O sunglasses $30 Ross
