not again.  what should be done about these depressed, anti social, goth wearing, violent kids?  my sister is a bit of a goth, if I had to put a label on it, she hung around some questionable characters in high school and draws pictures of zombies all the time...but all kids who go around quoting Nietzche and obsessing about death should not be lumped in the same category as the Columbine shooters or now this guy who admired Hitler in Minnesota.  BUT, why does it seem like these student killers are always goth?

(from a report on NBC yesterday) I think the actual pattern of school shooters shows that like 2/3 of them are "disenfranchised" or basically kids who were bullied.  In my experience, kids that are of the unorthodox/rebellious/anti-establishment genre usually tend to be the ones who dress in black and are known as being either weird or quiet, but I don't like to label it goth...I just don't know what other word best describes kids in this stereotype.  What's up with the black trenchcoats too?  Columbine shooters and this latest guy in Minnesota both wore black trenches.
