on all of my auctions i have specified that i will ship to US only. i just recieved a question from someone in mexico wanting to know if i'd ship to her and how much extra for shipping. i don't really have a problem shipping to ca and mex, but i just didn't want to deal with it at the time i was listing. it is that much of a hassle to ship there? how much more should i be charging for shipping? should i change my auction so that she can bid or just tell her sorry, out of luck? it's just a stainless swatch watch that i'd be happy to get $10 for, but i feel like i need to respond to her question anyway.

I once had a guy who lived in Spain contact me about an auction. It was sort of a pain because I had figure out the shipping and get insurance and fill out a short customs form, but by letting him bid on the auction I got more money than I otherwise would have. But it wasn't a huge deal. You could probably just go to the USPS web site and estimate the shipping charges.
