Sorry - these don't match up with the order of the photos.
Laura Linney - looked wonderful
Evan Rachel Wood - asside from a renegade piece of ruffle near her bust, very pretty.
Can't make up my mind about Drew Barrymore - I love the color and I "get" the dress. Too much whispy-frizziness. Would've liked to have seen her in makeup that is less muted.
Eva Longoria - She's a pro.
Hayden Panettiere - I really like the dress.
Suprisingly so, Laura Dern - Not bad...Having Ben Harper on her arm doesn't hurt either. :)
Rumer Willis - Some say she should lose the belt. I say to keep it because the dress might be boring without.
America Ferrera - very cute
Demi, herself, looked very nice. The dress didn't do it for me.
What is the deal with Rene'e Z & JLo? Ugh.
I'm going to see if my grandma will be willing to take Cameron Diaz to Merle Norman for her first makeup lesson. I know, when I was young, it was a very special time for me. Put down the spray-tan gun and get your hands off of that face highlighting creme!
I cannot stand Renee Zellweger. I think she is unbelievably unattractive and have no idea how she got famous. Her squinted face and pursed lips bug, she is too thin, and she looks 60 to me.

the dress is heinous too

I didn't watch te show, but I checked the fashion reports, and Renee Zellweger looks increasingly worse at every event. The L.A. Times called it an "aging widow" look or something along those lines. Too Shelly Winters for my taste. On the plus side, at least based on the photos, she didn't make me want to force-feed her like I usually do whenever I see her.
I saw other pictures of Drew besides the one above where I thought she looked amazing - total Marilyn Monroe. Liked it a lot.
My 'bad' pile includes Eva Longoria. It may be wrong to say it, but, you're a mediocre TV actress on a dying network show in a dying medium, and I just am not as fascinated by your celebrity as you want me to be. So I thought the dress was too much for her position in the industry. Maybe if it was black, maybe if it didn't have the train, but generally, not appropriate.
In contrast I thought America Ferrara looked lovely AND age/seasonally/event appropriate.
