ha ha! yes, i picked my dress last july and it came in around the holidays.

i think i posted about it on FH, but now i don't remember. anyway, this is what it looks like except my sash is taupe (the color is called "mocha") and not gold like this one -

i have my first fitting scheduled for a few weeks from now (it needs a lot of work so they wanted to start early).

a lot actually! it's about 3 sizes too big in the top (even though i ordered a 4 and it fits everywhere else - sigh) and at my first fitting the seamstress tried to convince me to put three sets of pads into the bust area instead of cutting it and reseaming the top. i had a bridezilla moment and opposed looking like pamela anderson at the wedding (i believe my exact words were something like "my fiance fell in love with a flat chested gal, so that is what i plan to be at the wedding!")... so they have to basically cut and remake the entire top.

hopefully it will all go ok!
