In the magazine Better Homes and Gardens (Feb.) they have a fireplace decorated with 6 different kinds of mirrors all in different sizes, well, 3 different sizes.
Do you think these would be too off? Should I buy some more or two is okay for now depending how I put them together? Help!
I think two could work - for your other fireplace accessories I would keep them asymmetric and/or in odd numbers. I'm seeing maybe a trio of topiaries? Maybe something like one of these?
Or even something like this:
and maybe some candles on the other side of the mantle?

Thanks for your ideas Lmonet. The only problem with my fireplace is that the mantle doesn't go out too much so it makes it difficult to just put anything on it. The 2nd one and the last one would probably fit.
So you really think the two mirrors over my one fireplace would look good? I hope! I'll probably buy them over the internet this weekend if I dont see something else I like.
I would do three, like this and that would make it about 36" wide (roughly including spaces), which should be a good width for a fireplace (at least according to mine) And then do a ton of candles on the mantle, so pretty w/the candle light reflecting in the mirrors!
Those three would work like that also, but personally I prefer it the first way I posted it, with the ends being the same. I really like the idea of these etched mirrors grouped together, I may have to snatch me up a few They would also look pretty if you made it look like ribbon was holding them up like this:
(sorry, I could only find an example in undies)
But don't just hang them from the ribbon, hang them the normal way (with picture hanger) that way that supports the weight and then add the ribbon.
