You can go into your post, hit edit, and delete or modify the comment in your post.

Does it take a while to work, because I went in and deleted, but when I checked the thread to see whether it worked the post was still there. -thanks

You can only modify or delete the content of your post through editing. You cannot delete your post.

sorry for being unclear. By "delete" I meant I "backspaced" to clear every thing out of the post.
