Hmmm...I try to conveniently forget how much I spend on my more expensive things.
I'd probably have to say wither my MJ bag or this fabulous pair of jeweled prada sandals that sit on my table so I can drool over them- I think I have worn them like, three times.
Lillykind, I have no idea what style they are, I just bought them at Nordstrom a month ago. Does it have the style number on the inside? I will look when I get home, it is raining here today
i had those chanel glasses, but i went to the beach, drank too much and lost them. i have been looking for some (i don't want to buy them on ebay...i want authentic ones) and i have been searching for style 5031. i looked my glasses up in the chanel book as saks. so i'm pretty sure that the style is 5031. let me know if it's not cuz then i have been looking for the wrong glasses this entire time!!!

Chic and shopgirl82, mine say '5030' on the left side of the glasses. I got mine at Bloomies last September and they should be permanently glued to my face.
I'm cheap.. the most I've ever spent was around 110$ on my amazing Betsey Johnson "diva" coat (it was NWT at my favorite thrift store! I love the Bay Area )! I don't wear it as much though, because it is so perfect I'd like to keep it perfect forever! I also have bought a bracelet for 100$ when I was in Europe - Murano glass beads, beautiful.. also almost never wear it, for the same reason. I seem to get the most wear from the bargains (which is most of my closet, actually) - this way I have very nice things and still am not afraid to "exploit" them. I think I have an outrageously amazing jewelry collection, but most of it I made myself - even though it's semi-precious stones and gold-filled, the materials bill is not that high. I also have to thank my mom, who gave me my really expensive things like a strand of real pearls and a full-length cashmere coat from France!

"
This is so me!! The most money I have spent on a clothing item (other than my wedding gown) is $96 on my black leather high heel boots--which I I bought them in winter 2003 and am still wearing them. However, the reason I don't spend more on items is because I am so fickle. What I like this spring, I may not like next spring. I am really working on trying to define my style and to figure out what is really "me".
However, I do want a pair of Manolos eventually. I actually have enough money saved up to buy a pair of $600ish ones, but I can't justify spending that much money on one item when I have saved it to go spring shopping. I guess I just don't want them as bad as I think I do
Versace sunglasses, I get so many compliments on them from girls on the streetsthey have crytals on the sides but not on the legs, I tried finding a picture to post but couldn't.
Gucci purse that I bought from Saks outlet for around $500
I think the most expensive thing I bought was this Miu Miu jacket that I also wear as a dress. I bought it in Paris where I thought I was getting a deal(?)... But it's an amazing piece that I will wear forever. I will post a pic of it once I am done with my move.
Other than that I have had alot of mini-splurges (embarassingly too many). I know I budget too much for clothes and should save more or do better things with my money.
Other expensive splurges:
small botkier trigger (I got this before the price shot up)
Botkier hollister (got it at LuckyShops for $325/retails for $610)
Black T-strap Louboutins with red stitching (got these with a gc so it wasn't too terrible)
Velvet beaded Jill Stuart jacket
Anya Hindmarch tote custom made with my photo & I made one for my mom too.
I usually try to get my lux items on sale or at a sample sale or outlet.
On a frickin' computer! (I'm such a dork) I didn't pay for all of it (my dad helped), but luckily I had a bunch of $ from work. I go to design school, and I switch every quarter between school & a co-op job. I used the $ I saved from my work quarters to fund this purchase. Also, I got a student discount from Apple, which helped a LITTLE (not that much, but better than nothing!) I convinced my dad to help me pay for this by adding up all the $ I saved him by not paying for a single computer program while in school (I burned copies from other people; it seriously would cost over $2000 to pay for all the programs the school requires us to "buy," and that's the student price!)
My most expensive non-electronic purchase was a khaki trench-style (no tie at waist) medium length, lightweight jacket by Theory $400 I bought it over 5 years ago, and I still wear it ALL the time. It was a fantastic purchase, and worth every penny.
coh ingrid jeans. 136 + 15 to get them hemmed. i wear them all the time though. actually was more expensive than my wedding dress! (which was 40 and 100 for alterations)
I honestly don't know... all my nice stuff has been gifts.
My deb gowns were both really expensive but my parents paid for those. Same with my Chanel bag (well, actually all my designer bags ).
I did buy the beautiful red evening gown from a boutique in Nashville for like $450. I planned to wear it to a party but it was too big by then. So it found a better home by selling it on ebay.
My biggest most recent purchase has been new tires. Sexy.
my glasses - almost $800. But those are a necessity, so they don't really count. I guess my coach bag that I bought off Ebay...originally $298, but I got it for $140. Yes, it's definitely authentic.
$258.72 Valentino eyeglasses ( I still have the receipt!). They are so fabulous. They have crystals going down the sides. I get compliments on them all the time. Why would you want contact lenses!
