i think for me was a D&G white down coat that I bought @ Woodbury Commons like 4 yrs ago for $450

The ~ 450 black suit I bought last fall, but I love it.


But probably the most expensive item I own is a chashmere coat my dad gave me for Christmas: it was ~ 1500 euros, but it's worh every cent, I love it!

The most expensive thing I own is my Marc Jacobs Venetia in camel. It was 975.00 @ Neimans but I paid $600 for it. Isn't it great to have a good friend who works there and doesn't mind sharing her discount with you.

I have the gucci horsebit hobo and bulga tote in fuschia on my wish list and i hoping to get in a few weeks.  I will probaly have to go for the bulga($405) because the gucci is out of my range right now. That's $1200(whew). No discounts on that one

The most expensive thing I've bought is my LV Speedy 30.  I love it and carry it every day, so it was worth every penny.


I am considering investing in a Balenciaga Le Dix or a Gucci Horsebit Hobo at the end of the year, so that might take the place of my LV as being my most expensive item

My LV Lexington in monogram vernis. I bought it used $350, off ebay. The seller was mypoupette recommended. And I have compared it with the one at the LV store so I am sure its real. Here is a pic but mine is the light beige color.


 


I am waiting until I am out of debt (2 more months!) and then I am considering getting a new purse. I am eyeing the burberry prorsum one.

Mine's black too- I love it, wish I could wear it but don't wish I was in the freezing cold weather, so oh well. :) Sometimes I think about sleeping with it, its so comfy!

I don't really spend that much money on an item because I usually get great deals.  I am considering shelling out the $300 for these flats, and I might buy the Chanel flats that I've been wanting too, but I'm waiting to find those on eBay.  The most money I've spent on one item are the silver MJ flats, half off for $150.  OH, and my Inhabit cashmere cardigan, which I got for $178 on eBay (retailed for $425).  I can't justify anything too expensive, my "expensive" things are in the $150 range.

Like lynnie, I get pretty good deals so most of my stuff isn't really expensive. Plus I have some generous rich old lady friends with good taste who like to give me their goods.


I'd say the most money I've ever plunked on something myself is $220 for my Chanel sunglasses, worth every cent in sunny LA.


If my Balenciaga ever decides to show up...that will probably overtake it. I am planning on a big purse purchase this year around 1k.


The most expensive item I own is my LV Speedy 25, which was $435 when my mom bought it for me.

um $150 on a 7/8 length leather jacket from wilson's, which i recently gave to the salvation army b/c it was too big. other than that i rarely spend mroe than $60-$70 on a single item. that's the most i can plunk down for one thing without feeling really guilty. i live for sample sales and loehmann's and have become extremely content with getting things a year late (like my capital tailors trousers).  i did try to spend money today, but it was too frustrating. in fact, i just wrote this long post about my experience today.

The MJ was my first major purchase and I wasn't making much money at the time so I almost head a heart attack after I bought it. Dot was with me at the outlet mall and had to keep telling me that yes, it was ok that I had plunked down so much money on a bag.

Sad to say but the most expensive thing I have bought for myself was a bridesmaid dress.....in the bordeaux color $400 with alterations!

I don't usually buy nicer things for myself b/c I am such a bargain hunter...I like getting good gifts though!
