so i have weird skin on my body. i used to go to the tanning bed about 5 years ago... i know its bad. but i swear the only way my skin looks perfect is if it's tan.
do i go to the tanning bed covered in sunscreen and see if that works or do i just deal with the crap skin?

I am the same way, my skin tends to be a little splotchy when it is pale. I go to the tanning bed for a little every spring. I think the key is to not burn (start slowly) and to stop when you have a decent base tan (not get taneorxic). I keep my makeup on, which has an spf in it and am sure to use a lot of moisturizer afterwards. I just keep up my tan in the summer by laying out radomly.
I'm a firm believer that just about anything in moderation is ok
I'm going to be the voice of dissent here. I know tanning looks good now but it's soooo bad for your skin! Go with sunless tanning - you'll thank yourself later.
i usually self tan at home, and go tanning twice and it's just-enough, but not too much. i've heard jersey girl tan is a great brand.

i know that it's bad for you... but my dilemma is i either have blotchy icky looking skin, or go tanning a few times and have better skin. the sunless tanning is what i have done for a while now, and it doesn't make my skin look any better. it really sucks.
