Morning Girls! I finally beat crystal to this post today! After a long week of studying and crappy tests I can go work out and releave some stress.


B: Kashi Go Lean Crunch, 1/2 cup skim milk 1 small banana


S: 1 cup grapes


L: turkey and cheese sandwich on lite white, 1 pear


S: 1/2 cup cashews and an apple


D: not sure


E: 45 min weights 40 min cardio.

ah man!  i was having a good run too!

s: banana chips (skipped this snack yesterday, may do it again today depending on hunger)


l: brown rice, handfull chopped carrots, 99% ff yoplait yogurt


s: strawberries (also skipped this yesterday too, but had some chocolate )


d: whole weat pasta w/ tomato basil sauce (the sauce isn't especially healthy, oh well!)


w: AM hour walk, PM resistance training w/ "tube"... i forgot gym clothes at home & don't want to waste gold... i mean gas... to go get them!

How much of the Kashi do you eat every morning? I tried it today and I swear I felt like I was chewing like a horse forever.  Its very chewy stuff.  I think I'm going with 3/4 cup instead of the 1 cup like they say is the serving size.

LOL, chewing like a horse!  well, it's funny cuz for the first time i actually followed the serving size (1 cup) & found that most of my life i've been eating too little in the cereal department.  i was suprised how much 1 cup really is!  i do eat that amount tho & it is very crunchy but i don't find it to be a problem.  are u sure u have go lean CRUNCH & not regular go lean, cuz i've heard that one sux!  anyways, the only reason i would cut down is cuz it is just a lot of food so it takes me a while to eat it in the morning but i wouldn't say i feel the "horse" effect!

I'm pretty sure I grabbed the crunch one and it has little clusters in it.  I think I"m going to try cutting down a little on it and adding fresh strawberries in with it.
