Anyone who has been to Tahiti/Bora Bora/Moorea/Huahine....


What did you find was the best option for $ when you were there, Credit cards? travelers checks(not my favorite option)? I recall reading/hearing something about ATM's not being the best there, or something to that effect.


Any advice you could give would be great.

Detroit's been to Tahiti, so she can probably answer your question.  But she might not see this post in the wedding section - you should post this in the travel section.


I haven't been, although I'm planning a trip there for possibly this summer.  Will you tell me all about it when you get back?

I would rely on cc for most stuff (I think they give you a good exchange rate too) but bring some cash to exchange to their money since not everyone takes credit cards.
