Farrah - I went to the "other" CMU - Carnegie Mellon University.

I went to CU undergrad (I tranferred there from Wheaton College in MA). I have zero allegiance to it, though. It's more like I lived in Boulder and happened to go to class.. err... every once in a while (I was a F/T student, but a bit more devoted to skiing/partying/going to dead shows). This was in the early 90's. It's a funny place, CU... I had a really hard time socially - despite Boulder's liberal & laid back image, I didn't find people to be very accepting (I was going through a hard & awkward time in my personal development - who wasn't in college? - and people were actually sort of awful to me...very judgmental & unsupportive). So I often think of Wheaton as my "college". Anyway - it's good and bad. I wish I had fond college memories, but on the other hand, I am a completely different person now than I was at CU - the whole thing toughened me up and gave me some street smarts about human nature.
Oh - Elon girls... one of my best friends went there! She graduated in 1993.

Unfortunately they were all probably still in Junior High when I graduated. I can't believe it has been that long since college. Wild!

Currently getting my MBA from Kansas University (KU). Rock Chalk Jayhawk, Go KU! I'm waving the wheat right now, but if you aren't affiliated with a BIG 12 university, you might not get that...(and I'm not even going to say anything to you Okies on the board ).

I know what you mean - Boulder is strange that way. I have a lot of friends who went there and had similar experiences with people being very closed off socially.
I had friends who went to Wheaton, too. And LOVED it.
