STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Well my boyfriend ordered a lot of stuff from overstock.com, over $500 worth, they deducted the money from my boyfriends checking account, now they are saying they didn't recieve the money so he has yet to recieve the stuff he ordered.  Paypal insists that they paid them. my boyfriend also recieved an email from overstock saying that his money had been recieved and the transaction was complete.  7 days later he recieved another email saying that the money was not recieved.  Paypal is being really good about the whole ordeal and will reimburse the money if he files a dispute.  However, He wants the things he ordered.  Also he ordered a glamour subscription from them back in the first week of december for me as a part of my christmas present. I have not yet recieved a magazine so while he was on the phone with them they told him that they canceled his order. He asked when he would get a refund b/c once again, they took the money but never sent the merchandise.  They insist that they refunded the money.  (Glamour didn't go through Paypal).  Well they didn't  We shop at overstock a lot!!!! I don't know what is going on, but we always get our stuff within days of ordering it.  We also use paypal alot and considering they are being wonderful about the whole ordeal I have a feeling that this problem lays with overstock not Paypal.  This is very frustrating.
