As I am getting more serious about working out & building some muscle I am thinking I need to start drinking protein shakes. How exactly do they work though (forgive my ignorance!!!)
Do you just drink them right after you work out? Whats the best way to use them?
Mara, I don't know much about protein shakes....but I do know that my boyfriend's old roommate used to take them as a meal replacement....and they gave him uhm......bathroom problems.........but he continued to take them.....so I am scared of them.
