After much frustration I went to my closet yesterday & tried to create outfits in advance so I don't get so mad when I have to go somewhere. Well, I figured it out - I have 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of black pants & a denim skirt - THAT'S IT for bottoms. So I can barely make an outfit with my cool new denim jacket because i need bottoms that are not denim!!
So help - I need comfy, casual type pants, cheap as possible - I am in the process of losing weight but don't mind buying 1 or 2 pair if that will cure this frustration!!!! when I get down about 10-15 more pounds, I will have more options because i have 3 sizes of "pants wardrobes" in my closet. Any suggestions for things that will be versatile in the meantime?

american eagle jeans and old navy pants have been my good friends in my weight loss process...i knew i wasn't down to my ideal size yet, so i didn't want to spend a lot of money on nice pants/jeans only for them to be big later...so that would be my suggestion...they are fairly inexpensive and at ON they usually have good sale prices...so for temporary clothing...i would do that
i would do skirts, since they are easy to alter. (hopefully it is warming up where you live). i also have a pair of longer cargo shorts (think mid calf) that have a D-ring on the waist so that they are adjustable. they are from urban outfitters last year and i wear them with a white button down (loooow cut) and like a newsby cap, some powder pink pearls that i have, and these cute dior mules. they are great for when i drink too much (think bar or baseball game-that's how versitile they are) i can let them out. i hope that helps....

aren't you in dallas? I would check out tj maxx for pants from express and limited (usually $15 or less) or maybe the outlet mall. I'm sure you have br outlet & gap outlet and I know you have bcbg outlet (always having a sale so pants are around $35) around there.
