okay, well i think i already mentioned that i was tired of my old screen name (ak - my initials) and i just happened to have a nice warm mug of hot cocoa in my hands when i was choosing.

it also has a tiny bit of significance... when i was pregnant it was the only form of chocolate i could eat without ending up with a bad case of heartburn, 2+ years later i still drink it regularly in the winter for my chocolate fix.

mine used to be my first name + bee, which was a nickname that sometimes people call me.  then i decided to ditch the name part and keep the bee.  i just like bumblebees, that's all--no real significance.

I've always wondered if I was 'pronouncing' your screen name right SFC!  Mine is pretty boring too, just my first initial and middle name, but if I have a terrible time remembering all my online screen names/passwords so if they're not all the same I'd never be able to remember them all!

I chose bliss because I think it is my favorite word. I love the sound of it, it makes me feel peaceful and have seriously considered using it as a middle name if I have a daughter.

I used to fence back in the day (college), and one of the languages I translate/interpret is French. The French word for fencing is escrime. It's mainly because no one usually has it as a screen name.

When I get my two dogs (a yorkie and  a maltese) they're names will be Nyla and Belle.  So I just used that as my sn.

ugh... I don't like my screen name. I was thebrazenhead on FH which is my email address (its a song by the band  The Swingin' Udders) but I got bored with that. So when I came here I wanted to change so I randomly picked Brazen Canadian on a whim. Now I'm sick of that too and I wish I'd just picked something simple like my name.


But truth be told, I am pretty brazen (shameless, bold). Also brazen refers to brass and I have brassy red hair. Yes, I'm a bit of a dork, ok?

My real name is Desiree but my grandma can't pronounce my name so she calls me "Daisy" but it comes out sounding like "day-see" not "day-zee."  Then my dad started calling me daiz (like dayz) and then my close friend started calling me that, too.  So I am daiz and 519 is my bday, may 19th.

My best friend in HS and I used to play the online game Utopia, which was all about building a kingdom and based heavily on medival ideals. So I tried to come up with a medivial-y sounding name. My favorite flower at the time was the calla lily, so I got "lily", and then "kind" just popped out randomly. We still both use our names around each other and everything.


On FashionHag, I was RSLilykind. The R came from my first forum screenname "rockgoddess" (I used to post at a music board) and the S is for my first name, Sandy.

mine is kind of weird/gross:


about 8 years ago, when e_coli scares were in the news all the time, my friend started calling me e_doli (rhymes with e_coli) (my first name is erin and last name begins with dol--).  it was around the time i opened my first email account, so i used it as my username.  i've used it for everything since then, b/c if i have too many different ones i cannot keep them straight.

My dearly departed grandma would always call me "T" for my first name, plus my first name is cheesy and I added "Miss" for some added umph.  I like to keep it simple.
