Okay here is the issue:


My reception site is the same as my Oldest sister (A) and my fiance and I love the band that my other sister (B) is using. Are we just taking the best from the two of them or should we try to go out and be different.


I mean the colors are going to be way different as is the style. I am super girly girl and my colors are pink black and white. I am very particular on the food and will make it different from my sisters and am thinking of doing a milk and cookies bar for when people are leaving the reception. with milk cartons, and a variety of cookies in bags.


I think this will definitely differentiate my wedding from my sisters right?

Is your wedding before or after theirs? How do they feel about you using the same things they are? I personally wouldn't use either, but especially the reeption site. I'm guessing a lot of the same people will be attending and I would want to have a wedding that was completely my own. But I also don't think it would be bad to use the same things.

Unless this is a name brand band (like U2, Usher, etc) I don't think people will remember which band your sister had a year or two before your wedding date. I also don't think the reception place will be that big of a deal because you are decorating it in a different style and its probably a place lots of people use.  Don't worry about it.  I know from previous posts you are having problems planning stuff for yourself anyway.  Just go with what you want and you like because it is your day!!

If you don't have a problem with it, and neither of your sisters have a problem with it, then i think it would be fine. 


i can understand how some people would want to be totally different, but it's a totally personal decision.  it sounds like you'll be okay with it, so go for it -- because ultimately you are choosing the place and band that YOU want and will be perfect for YOU (and it doesn't really have to do with whether or not your sisters used the same ones).
