Another AMAZING J Crew Experience	Permalink Closed

So I have been lusting after one of the J Crew coats from this season, but I didn't want to fork over $330. Then, the week that I lost my job they put it on sale for $199 and they were offering an additional 20% off. I mentioned it to my BF and he said if I wanted it for XMas he would buy it for me, but I hesitated. Then, on Tuesday of this past week I went back to the site to visit the coat (a nasty habit I have when I am lusting over something) and it was marked down to $179.99 and if I spent $250 or more I could get 30% off. I told my BF about it and he said to find $250 worth of stuff and order the damn thing (with his cc of course). So I ordered that, a sweater and two tops. The coat ended up being only $126 after everything. I was ecstatic: I was finally going to get my coat. Fast forward to yesterday morning: I get an email from J Crew telling me that they are sorry, but they had to cancel the coat off my order because they were sold out in my size. They still gave me the other items at the lower price, but I was so upset: I wasn't going to get my coat!! I was especially upset because they were showing that they had a size 2 on Friday and I ordered it on Tuesday. How could they run out?! So, today my BF and I were at the mall and I said that I wanted to see if they had the coat. I knew that they wouldn't have it for so cheap. but I thought I would look. Well, I walked in and it was right by the door. An SA walked right up to me and said, cute coat huh? It is 40% off. I must have looked really sad because she said, what's wrong. So I told her the whole story and she was like, come on up front and we will see what we can do. So she called the online division and found out that they were charging $179.99 so she knocked the price down to that and then gave me the additional 30% off so I got it for $126!!! I was so happy I almost kissed her.
