I own the Joeys in a 28...they're too big for me now (I've lost some weight since getting them) and I really would've liked to go with a 27. I wear a 27 in the Scorprions in the new light wash and I think I took a 28 in the dark trick wash (w/fading & stretch), but really it's best to try on.

In comparison to the Joeys, I like them a lot, maybe even a little more, than the Joeys. I've been seeing a lot of people out here in TR Joeys but I've only caught a couple of people IRL in R&R scorpions and basically R&R in general. I love the back flap pockets too...I've seen other companies try to do those pockets, but IMO R&R does them perfectly. I'm curvy and I have hips, but I've never noticed a problem with the pockets (see pics of Eva Longoria).

Off the top of my head, I know Dale Michele (on Beverly Dr. in BH) and Traffic (in the Beverly Center) carry the Scorpions. Dale Michele will order your size if she doesn't have it and hemming is free. I know hemming will be free at Traffic as well. Nordstrom has carried them as well at some point, but I'm not sure about now.
