I decided to award myself a laptop for deciding to go back to school for a graduate degree (I reason that I'll need it at school, thus rationalizing the $2000 purchase)
Does anyone have the Insperion 9200 Notebook from Dell? I'm going to customize, so I was really just wondering if the feel of the keyboard was nice and if everything was in a comfortable place. Is it a widescreen? Any details or comments would help. I wish a retailer had it so I could go hold it and look at it in person before ordering it online.
I really love mine. I have not had any problems w/ it and I like it works. The screen is a nice size. My only complaint is that I had using the built in mouse, but I hate them on any computer. Nothing bad about this one, I just prefer an external mouse.

I don’t want no part of your tight-ass country-club, you freak bitch!
Universities usually have programs for buying computers at a special price, and Dell is known for making deals with universities, so check it out with your school before you shed the full 2000$. I was in a market for a laptop recently, and finally settled on an IBM (which I received last week and am as happy as can be!) but I talked to a Dell representative on the phone and got some sweet quotes on the Inspirons. I am not even sure they ask for your student ID. If you want, I can give you a link to the program I looked at (i am at UC Berkeley).
I get a discount through my employer, as all we buy are Dells (ok, and mac's, but that's a different story)
I am going for my MBA.
I would have sworn that I was looking at the 9200, but when I was cruising the site today, all I saw was the 9300. Am I going nuts, or did they switch it over the weekend?
Can't you hook up an external mouse if you want to?
