I saw the host (I am blanking on her name) oh yeah - Tyra Banks - on a morning talk show yesterday morning and she explained the reason why and now I forget. Something about how that it doesn't work for this show and market. The clothes are too small, etc. etc.

Hurray, more ANTM watchers! It does look like it should be a good season. I don't have a favorite yet, I'm sure I will after the next episode.

Did you all watch the special on Tuesday, What the divas are doing now (or something to that affect). I'm glad that Ya-ya has found work too. And even though I wasn't all that happy that Eva had won, she has grown on me. She seems to have matured some and is very well spoken. She was good in that episode of Kevin Hill.

i really like this show. i wish they had chosen the woman with the bad ex-hubby being kicked out with child. i thought she was pretty. well her mouth was weird, but i liked her pics. the girl with the fro is scary. i know she is supposed to be like that off beat black girl like alec wek or something, but i just don't get it. the westler chick is scary and that short girl i think her name is noelle was a HORRIBLE walker. how FREAKING CRAZY was the cat chic. glad she wasn't chosen.

yayayayayayayayayaya other antm watchers!

so far i'm really into brittany. she reminds me of adrianne curry (except that she can open her mouth). adrianne was my fav!!!!!! and i think the model-y-est out of all the antm winners. i feel sad because it didn't really seem like she got much work after the show.

i really cannot believe eva's last name is PIGford!!!!!!!! wtf? so not going for her. i feel annoyed because i really liked her the least out of all the antm winners but it seems like she's getting so much work. she doesn't look like a "model" to me. i can see her more as an actress or spokesperson. i do agree that it does seem like she's matured slightly, but she still bugs the hell out of me. i really hope that she doesn't up alot during this season.

as for the girls this season, i think all of them seem more model-like than in previous years. maybe the bar was set a little higher? i feel like in the past they had alot of really "mall" girls.

brittany??? are you guys serious? she's god awful. adrienne wasn't nearly as loud and irritating... adrienne is a self-described stoner druggie chick... to me, adrienne is "heeeeyyy maaaan" where as brittany is "OMG DUDE WTF LOL aaaaaaaaaah!!!!"

anyway... i like naima... not too many others. i'm excited to see what they do with the girl with the red fro.

i think lluvy looks like kif the green alien guy from futurama.

yay for repeats on upn, b/c i finally got to watch on friday.

brittany is a total monet. from a distance she looked okay but close up her nose is really out of proportion with the rest of her face. i think in that picture they did some major contouring, b/c on t.v. it was just scary.

naima -- ugh, she looks cool. but i just know too many people irl that are like her, and i find them annoying. when she started her whole spheel (sp?) on how she had to cut her hair to get rid of all the negativity and her mohawk centered her i wanted to gag.

lluvy -- i like her, even if she does look a little alienesque

in general i'm concerned about this season. i think it will be interesting, but i feel like they cast a lot of people for their drama potential. which is understandable but i like the fashion aspect of the show and don't really want to sit through hours of baby's mama drama.
