Was there a post started for this already? I have been so wrapped up with work and things that i feel so out of the loop! Excuse me if this has already been discussed.
This is my last official week of the shopping freeze!!! Except for a little blip in the radar known as a D&G tweed blazer, I did very well for the last couple months. I'm not sure if I will attempt to do this again, but I really feel like I will be more controlled in my spending from now on. It has been soooo nice to see that extra cash in my checking and savings accounts, I don't know if I want to pass up that great feeling.
hope everyone had a good weekend!!!

I didn't post this yesterday because I went shopping and bought stuff this weekend - 2 pairs of shoes for $20 total (all on sale though). I'm going to be better this week though.
nope. I broke the ban BAD. I will def. be posting next week though. no more shopping for me. I don't even think I'm going to let myself set foot in a store.
I'm starting an official March shopping ban. I'm joining you girls on here. How do you resist the temptation? Someone already posted these fabo gauchos from UO for only $28 that I want soooo badly. It seems like such a small amount but that's what gets me into trouble. How do you do it?
I also would like to join the shopping ban. In the last two days I splurged on two pairs of designer jeans that I found on sale (80$ for both) and today I bought a new beautiful laptop bag for 100$ (AAAAAA!!! but it was so pretty and I desperately needed one), and I also bought a cami today so I have to stop. My monthly budget is only 100$ and I've already spent 2ce as much in just two days. I need to stop. I should also probably return the 60$ AG jeans pair
OK, so how do you girls do it? And is there a regulas non-shoppers thread?

Usually we just post a thread monday morning when the weekend shopping thread goes up but you can start a thread whenever you want. I think the key to my success is staying away from stores. When I go to stores I usually buy so I stay away for a while when I'm in a shopping mood and once that mood has passed I'll go to the mall and just browse and not buy. It just takes some will power and knowing that you can say no to stuff.
I don't have a full length mirror in my room. I just found the timer setting on my camera and set up a spot where I could place it and take a picture of myself. Its not that hard and you can see my face instead of an eye and a camera!
All right - thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try that. I am actually a little apprehensive about posting to TS because I am overweight (sz.12) and all you girls are so skinny
I should probably do it anyway - what do you think?

sz 12 is the average size of most americans. Don't feel bad about it. I was almost there last january so I know what is going on in your mind but I just evaluated what I wanted to do/feel and went from there.
As for posting I say go for it. Its a lot of fun and I'm getting tips on what to do.
