the dress is really cute, but the way the sleeves are capped, makes me think a shrug, cardigan or blazer is needed. i could see a chunky necklace with it, too.
I think its cute but it looks too matronly on the model. Maybe t would work better on a smaller-breasted woman? I picture bright green wedges or a funky mary-jane maybe?
this dress is a little "sarah plain and tall"- at least in this picture! maybe it's the model? she's kinda slouching- makes it look a little frumpy. maybe with the right accessories, it could work. i don't know, i think it's just okay....

LOL..well that's me! I'm skinny and small-breasted!

I know! I love the model's hair. I actually have the same hair color, and I've made it my goal to have hair like the model's! So pretty and long. Damn my stupid layers!
Maybe I'm off, but this dress reminds me of this outfit from stylediary. My brain is thinking cowboy boots or Fryes for shoes so that the dress doesn't become too girly.
I don't think I could pull off cowboy boots, or that I like them with that dress. But looks cute on the model. Anyway, I think I will try the dress, and I will report back. The only thing I think I don't like about the dress is that it has capped sleeves. I have long skinny arms, and I don't think I like this type of sleeve on me. As for being to girly...that's what I like about the dress. It reminds me of growing up in Texas on those HOT and humid summer days wearing nothing but a sun dress. I think it's kinda cute and feminine in an old fashion sort of way..and it could be cute and modern with the right accessories. And if I don't like it, all I have to do is return it.
