I just needed to share this with someone.I am going in for an MRI tomorrow and I am afraid of what they will find. I just went into see my doctor today because I have been extremely dizzy the past few days. I have also been suffering from head aches all week. My doctor thinks it could be an inner ear infection, but one other possibility she mentioned was a brain tumor. Allthough this is very unlikely,I am still afraid.

Ahhh I don't really know what to say except try not to worry! Also you are really brave. I've been referred to a neurologist twice in the past few years and never went because I'm a big baby. At least you'll know what's going on in your head!
((((hug)))) i wish you best of luck with it and hope everything is ok.
you didn't mention this, so i don't know if you are worried about it or not, but are you claustrophobic at all? i am a bit, and my friends freaked me out completely before i went for one in october (i hurt my back). anyway, it was so not anything to get worked up about. i asked for a pillow to put behind my head, which pushed it up enough that i could see out the end of the tube past my feet, and i wasn't scared at all. it's a very long tube that is open on both ends, and the way mine was situated i could see the MRI operator in his glass booth beyond my feet. there will be some really loud noises, but it's not really that scary.
i hope you will post again and let us know how it went.
Karina I have been under a lot of stress lately. Last month my father was in the hospital for 2 weeks with a bad intestinal infection, and allthough he is doing better now, he is going to have surgery next month. CC my best friend is coming with me.i asked him along because he has this way of keeping me calm, and I don't want to say anything to my family untill I know what is wrong.Bumblebee I am not claustrophobic, but I am happy to hear that it was not scary to go through. Thanks guys for your support.

it could be your body reacting to a lot of stress... maybe you should talk to your PCP after your mri
(((((((hugs))))))) I'm sure everything is fine but these things are scary. Just try not to worry (easier said than done) and it'll be over and a memory before you know it!
Oh, one more thing, I had a friend who had to have a lot of MRIs for similar stuff and it was all migraines with weird symptoms that weren't typical migraine symptoms.

I hope all is well. Just keep in mind that doctors must tell you the worst case scenario.
I do not know the results yet. I called my doctor's office today, and here my dotor has been out sick so far this week. so I won't here from her till thursday or friday. They did say they had another doctor look at the results, and if there had been somthing seriously wrong they would have called me. So whatever is wrong must not be that bad.
