has anyone heard about  or have one of these new straighteners?? if so, do they really work??

I've tried a few of them and none of them worked for me.  Well, they did after I ran the iron over one piece of hair 5 or 6 times.  Such a bummer, I was really excited about getting one.

One of my friends had her stylist try this out on her and she loved the results. But I feel like these tools have the potential to seriously damage your hair. When my hair started breaking a few years ago, my stylist blamed it on overusing my straightening iron, and I was only using it to touch up my hair after blowdrying. So I would personally shy away from something this powerful...
