I'm going for the first time for my birthday.  Unfortunately, I'm only going for two nights. :(  I'm staying at NY NY. Any recs on what to do? Where to go? Where to eat? Where to shop?  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

PS I'm not really into clubs. TIA! :)
ETA: I'll be there Jan. 1-3.

I know you said that you are not into clubs, but you might like the Bar at Times Square at the NY-NY.  It's a piano bar that was a lot of fun the last time I went to Vegas. 
Shopping is great at the Bellagio and Ceasar's Palace for designer type items.

Paris has a great restarant with outside seating across from Bellagio that has a greta view too.  The Hard Rock has a really fun club.

I agree, that's a fun bar.  We also had a lot of fun at their Irish pub @ NYNY.  Something like Seven Irishmen?  I can't remember, but you can't miss it.  Have fun!  Bet it all on black!

If possible, you may enjoy a Cirque du Soliel show. I always love going to see them.

Be sure to ride the roller coaster at NY NY - it's really fun!

Friends of ours saw Ka, the Cirque show at MGM Grand (v close to NY NY) and said it was amazing.
