It DOES look like something you could get in Mexico, which can be cool sometimes, but this shirt, I don't think, is one of those times.
If you're trying to stay "in trend" with embroidered tunics this season, I think the point is to avoid that whole earthy vibe. The tunic this season is like the hippie-love, peace, freedom and romance revival, with glamour thrown in to make it updated. No earthy involved, really. At least that's my take,
