I got to try the new mascara from Chanel. LOVE IT! People throw around the term "doe eyes." This stuff totally gives me the total doe eye look. I don't even have to curl my lashes beforehand. Otherwise, I like shu uemera's mascara. It provides a lighter touch, which is nice for when I don't want a makeupy look.
I use Cargo bronzer (light or med) and then just hit the apples with the mauve blush that is in the Bobbi Brown mauve palette.
Which one is the mascara that comes in the pink and green tube? I wouldn't even let my 13 year old spend her allowance on that crap. How did it end up on so many lists as a great bargain brand for so long?
ITA. It's crap. I cannot understand it either. (Great Lash, by the way.)
For an everyday mascara, I like the Sonia Kashuk line at Target, and Avon generally makes good ones too.
I don't use blush. I'm wondering if I should now that I'm middle aged, but I'd have to learn how, and I don't want to bother.
I love Lancome definicils and the Cover Girl one in the purple tube. They both have wands with super short bristles that really grab my lashes. I tried DiorShow and couldn't deal with the long bristles, I ended up with mascara everywhere! For blush I really like the Revlon cream blush in a berry color - cream blush is my new obsession, it makes me feel really glowy!

Same here. It's the worst mascara I have ever used.

I really like it. I'm really picky too cause a lot of mascara I've bought in the past from expensive name brands to cheaper , this one I'm happy with the no smudging issues. You should try it. Sephora will let you return it if your not happy with it
I'm a bit suprised that there are so many CG Lashblast fans. I tried it and wasn't a fan at all...honestly, I dont really know how the actual mascara is because I couldn't get past the applicator...hated it because it allowed too much mascara on the brush making a big gloppy mess.
I've tried a ton of mascaras...I've never understood the fuss over Lancome. I kind of liked Prescriptives False Eyelashes for a while. I also like DiorShow, but I'm always on the lookout for a less expensive drugstore solution. I have had good luck with Maybelline...not the pink/green, I agree with others that it is crap. I like the XXL which is the double sided one with the mascara at one end and "lash builder" at the other but I don't use the last builder so it is a bit of a waste. I wish I could find that mascara formula/brush combo in a regular package. For what it is worth my lashes are fairly long but very fine
That new Givenchy one looks interesting, maybe I'll have to give it a try...
In terms of blush I'm a Nars girl all the way...orgasm and The Multiple in portofino. I don't use both of them at once...depends on the time of year and my skin tone, but I tend to use the power based more in spring/summer and the stick more in fall/winter.
