I will say, though, that Fornarina's are possibly the most uncomfortable shoes ever. I have a pair of boots and a pair of kitten heels (!) that somehow manage to be painfully uncomfortable, and I am a trooper about super-high super-uncomfortable shoes.

I have to agree with Lisa though - I have a pair of Fornarina shoes with a really high heel (the Chloe look-alikes in teal suede and silver lining from the fall) that I can almost never wear because they're so painful. It's something to do with the heel height and also the angle of the arch - it starts hurting almost immediately. It's a shame though, because I love my Fornarina's and would wear them all the time otherwise.
those shoes are so me. i wish i wasn't reading about how uncomfortable they might be. otherwise they'd be in my cart and i'd be digging for my credit card number immediately.

ahh, amen to that. Those are really, really, really cute/sexy/gorgeous/beautiful...!!!
I love them too. Are they suede, though? I have these Fornarinas:
<--this is what they looked like new. Now, despite suede protectant and religious brushing, they are SO dirty. I'm glad I didn't pay much for them, because they simply will NOT stay clean. I only wear them with pants I am eyeing these, though, since they're all leather: PS - I have two pairs of Fornarinas (these and another pair) and I LOVE them. I think they're insanely comfortabe. I have really high arches though...maybe that's it?
