Just had to add, Joe Biden was my favorite for President, (Chris Dodd was my second choice) but he dropped out well before the Texas primary vote. So I was thrilled that Obama picked him for VP, and I am pleased that the country now sees how presidential he can be. Yay!

I didn't know who he was or anything about him, until one day while my DH (who's a political nut) was glued to the TV watching the Democratic debates, and Biden was on, being his usual smart, tough, no-BS self (telling it like is is, as Dr. Phil would say) and I said, "I like this guy!"

CNN had undecided Ohio voters giving their impressions of the candidates during the broadcast, and I noticed that women turned those dials way, way up whenever Biden spoke. Chicks seem to dig him. Biden is smooth, like Bill Clinton kinda smooth, and he performs equally well at the backyard BBQ, the cocktail party, and the college party. I'm pretty sure Sarah gave him her number after.

Susaoria - LOL, and then LMAO!! I didn't know chicks dug him. I don't find Biden smooth exactly. Clinton was charming-but-a-bit-smarmy, but Biden's charm is that he doesn't really try to be. I dig him probably for the same reasons probably other chicks dig him - because he's commanding, impressively intelligent, tough but sensitive and is a straighshooter. Who else in politics has had the balls to say what I'm sure many think, that Cheney is a dangerous man?
