Yes, i know it's a bridesmaid dress but it works so well for our beach wedding. I tried on a ton of traditional dresses and they were gorgeous and looked great but when i tried this one on and fell in love and when i walked out of the dressing room and my entourage gasped in excitement, it confirmed to me that this was the one. My mom said "that's you" and she cried - which was the final confirmation.


If you are looking for bridesmaid dress, this would be a great choice. It's a bit pricey for a bridesmaid dress ($265) but dirt cheap for a wedding dress. It's so wearable after the wedding.


Now i need shoes.

Thanks! I'm really happy about my choice in a dress. We havent decided yet (we have time). We rented a beach house on the beach. But we havent decided whether we are getting married on the beach or on the beach house property which is lush and tropical.


It's a matter of logistics (dragging chairs etc.. down to the beach). Either way, we will atleast be doing a champagne toast (at sunset) and photos on the beach.


I feel like i'm finally getting excited about the planning and not looking at it as a pain in the ass.

I LOVE that. I think the split neckline is so pretty unique. The pattern is also fabulous.

It sounds like it's going to be beautiful!  For either scenario, I would go with a slide/sandal - something that will be easy to put on/take off.

ooh, i love it! i have seen that dress in a few mags (ads) and think it is such a great dress! i never would have considered it as a wedding dress, but i really think it will be perfect for the style of your wedding. congrats on finding your dress!
