When I was looking for a picture of the Opinel knife (for weekend shopping)I ran across this: In 1985 the Victoria and Albert Museum in London published its Good Design Guide, a collection of the 100 most beautiful products in the world.

Does anyone (D? Sephora Blue?) know if this list can be accessed on the web? I googled and checked Amazon with no luck and I am DYING to see the list!!biggrin

I had never heard of it before you mentioning it here.  I poked around on the net, and the results I found were all opinel write ups.

I would contact the guy at the bottom of this page to see if he can help you out: http://www.vam.ac.uk/collections/prints_books/publications_project/index.html

Cool.  it would be interesting to see that list.  I bet you schools with a good industrial or product design program would have the book/list on hand in their library or academic department.

I would love to see if trends were included in the list and if they have held up over the past 20+ years.

I'll ask DH if he knows of this list.
