I JUST found out that DH is coming home TOMORROW! He is in Tokyo airport right now, as I type.
He meant to surprise me, apparently, but one of his co-workers called here and accidentally spilled the beans. He called here to tell me to give a message to hubby tomorrow when he gets here, and I was like, "What are you talking about?" And the LT said, "No, he's not, he's on his way home right now. He just got orders to head back to Washington." And I started freaking out thinking something was wrong. So the guy said he would call me back ASAP.
He then talked to the office DH was in over in SE Asia, and then he called me back and told me they said that he was planning on surprising me, which is why he didn't tell me. Apparently, they are sending a lot of the people back who went over there and are maintaining only those people who were stationed there to begin with.
So the question now is, do I go to the airport to surprise him when he lands? They are letting military family members meet active duty military at the gate now on return from their deployments, so i could surpise him at the gate.
And if I do surprise him there, WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO WEAR?
YES!!! You HAVE to go surprise him. Wear something sexy! That's great news, I'm happy for you. My DH is in the AF and although he doesn't deploy for as long as the Navy "Seamen?" do, I've been in your shoes! Congrats! He was supposed to deploy for a year, right?

It was tooooooooooo cold to do anything too overtly sexy like the trench coat thing, but he liked what I had on.
He was super surprised to see me. I think I actually scared the crap out of him more than anything. Don't sneak up on a jetlagged person.
Cricket: LOL, they are sailors, tee hee. I always laugh when someone says seaman. He was supposed to be gone for 4 months, but they were cutting way back on the people they were sending for the aid effort. Some people were there less than a week!

LOL, I knew that wasn't right. I sat there for a few minutes trying to think of the right word, but I had a total brain fart. All I could think of was Air Force = AIR men, Navy = SEA men.
My man's about to go on a pretty rough TDY to Eglin AFB, Florida for 2 weeks to fly around there. Lucky dog. Then he's home for 2 weeks and then another rough TDY to Las Freakin' Vegas. Time to find a sitter, Mama's going shoppping!
