eh, i don't mind. i thought cedric diggory was kinda cute in the HP movies...

he's pretty good looking, but he's just not the flawless piece of art that bella describes... well, maybe he is in stephenie meyers/bellas eyes.

i can't see your photos though.

if it's the EW cover photo that i think it is, i think he looks terrible.

Oh, the EW cover is totally terrible. I actually think it goes against everything that the Twilight books portray about the Cullens as vampires.

That being said, I think Rob Pattinson is thoroughly yummy and I cannot wait to fall in love with him as Edward. (I wish that there was a reason for him to speak in his natural English brogue though: YUMMM-EE!!)

i think the choice of robert pattinson as edward is great (visually at least)....but i didn't read the books before they picked him as the character, so i was already picturing him as edward when i read the books. i'm quite anxious to see how he actually is in the role, though. (hard to tell from the trailers out so far)

i think hayden christensen would have been a good pick. he's sort of intense, and seems like he'd play a good undead guy.

Really? While cute, I think he is a terrible actor. It is like watching wood. Did you see Factory Girl? He was very bad in it. JMO.

see, i think that may be okay for edward... i'm not a fan of HC's acting skills either, but while edward does have emotions, he doesn't seem to show them. if he feels something, he says it. i think most of edwards emotions are on the inside. that's why i thought HC may be okay in the part... not much emotion on the outside.

i like robert pattinson for the part. but i do agree with you, i think it would be better if he could keep the sexy accent.

The pic of Hayden has the hair description down lol. I think it's just that Edward is so dreamy no one can live up to our expectations of him. It took me awhile to adjust to some of the character picks...I still don't really think the Jacob pick is right. I'm not getting my hopes up over how close the movie will be to the book anyway since usually the movie isn't as good. Don't get me wrong though, I'm still really looking forward to the movie. Even if they mess it up it should still be good lol.
