So like my other jeans, I had to get my TR hemmed. The length was perfect afterwards but as i was walking to class one day my friend commented on the twisted inseam and said that it looked awkward. I just assumed that she didnt know that my jeans were supposed to have a twisted inseam. Anyhoo..i was picking out an outfit a week later and as i was looking in the mirror about to walk away i noticed that my right leg had a twisted inseam whereas my left pant leg did not!!! Now im a bit embarassed to wear my jeans out...and I LOVEEE the fit of them! Im so PISSEDD. The twisted inseam on the left leg started to twist inward a few incches lower than the other leg. WTF....idunno if i make much sense...i am still so distraught over it
hmm... you don't happen to remember how it looked before you had them hemmed, do you? I had my hemmed too and they turned out fine... I don't know if the tailor had to undo the inseams. I just assumed he didn't have to, but I don't know that much about sewing.
No i dont think so. They cut a few inches off and told me that they could reattach the bottom so that the jeans would look as if they had never been hemmed. Ive been to this tailor befoe and never had any problems. My most expensive pair of jeans and i didnt even get much wear out of them! I think that i would still wear them because i lvoe them...but ijust dont want ppl to laugh at my poor pants this sucks!
That sounds weird - if they cut the same amount off each leg, how could the seam differ? It makes me think maybe the seam was uneven before the tailoring even occured? I guess it's possible either way and to find out you'd have to go back to their original state. I agree, though, it sucks. Someone (the tailor or the people you bought the jeans from) should pay for/replace them.

yea i think it was uneven to begin with because it looks liek the twisted inseam on the left leg started to twist afew inchese lower than the other leg..sorry if im being repetitive. I ordered them from revolve clothing.com. I dont know what they could possibly do...i mean i hemmed them already..they would probably assume i ruined the jeans myself.
You're probably right, chloe, in that unless they have superfab customer service they will say it's your fault for hemming them (even though the flaw which ruined them - uneven seams - existed when you bought them). It might be worth a letter of complaint to True Religion. Some companies go overboard in keeping customers happy - you might get lucky.
