yeah we are suppose to fast on ash wed, every fri, and good friday.  I can't usually make it though so I eat a small lunch and try not to snack.  I don't think its really a big deal if you don't.  I mean the fish on fridays wasn't even from the bible.  It originated from meat rations during one of the wars so I don't feel bad if I go out with friends and accidently order a chicken entree or something like that.

hmm, thanks lbg!  all i really know about being catholic is what i learned growing up & since my parents never made us fast (even on fridays) cuz we were little, i barely just learned about fasting on fridays a few years ago.  well, hope u feel better... oh & from ur first post referencing someone beating u to posting today- i saw that u were active on the board so i decided not to post because i figured the second i did you would too & we'd get a double again!  i knew u'd get around to it.

I was horrible on Fri, Sat, Sun, so I am back on the wagon this week.

Today: breakfast donut (ha ha back on the wagon) lunch soup and chocolate cookie (ha ha wagon) and dinner gardenburger. But, at least my calories are under control, even though it is all empty calories.

I have also decided to implement "Fat Friday" every week, where I can eat anything I want on Friday. Yay!
