TTara123, Elle, & other lingerie gals?
Permalink Closed

I think it is TTara123 or Elle and a few other gals on here who actually have a larger obession or collection of lingerie than myself?  Need some insight as to how you store all your lingerie?

Since I've moved to DH's condo, I've been keeping much of my lingerie collection in a large unused suitcase.  It seems like such a shame to  store it that way, but I don't want them crammed in a drawer with the daily stuff.

As much as I'd like to display them all, I'm afraid that's not an option (yet).  So for the lingerie obsessed - where do you keep all your goodies?  TIA

I'm ashamed to admit that my storing solution is not that sophisticated or pretty. I love the idea of a lingerie chest, but the ceiling in my room is slanted from both ends and there's nowhere it could stand flush against the wall!

I have canvas bins on the floor of my closet underneath my hanging clothes, like this:

I have a few one for bras, one for bottoms, one for stockings and garters, etc. (and a sachet in each with my perfume's scent)

Because you should give bras and garter belts at least one day of "rest" between wears, I always have a few pieces hanging around that have been worn once or twice and have another wearing in them before I need to wash them. I have some pretty hooks on my wall that I use to hang these "resting" bras, my robe, nightgown, and sometimes I just hang something up there because I think it's pretty and hope to wear it soon shh.gif

On padded hangers - usually several items can hang on one hanger. (I have a big closet.)

My collection really isn't that large (yet), so it lives in my nightstand.  It's big and has drawers that are otherwise unused, so all bras are nested in the largest drawer, and all bottoms and slips are sort of strewn about in the second drawer.  I keep it all separate from the daily wear stuff, which is in drawers in my closet proper.

I hope that by the time I outgrow this system we'll have another dresser I can anex wink.gif.

that's sooo dreamy Elle, to have unused drawers! I'm interested to hear y'all keep bras together and bottoms together. I've tended to always keep all my "sets" together.
I like the canvas bins TTara - but then where shall my shoes go? haha - i guess the answer is just a bigger house.
:)

Sigh, maybe not a bigger house, but a bigger closet!
