That happened to me with a whole box of clothes after a move. I did find it again. Years later. It was stuck up in the attic with the Christmas decorations by someone's husband, who said they looked up there multiple times and never saw it. Must have been magic.

Yes! I know exactly what you mean. It is so weird.

Anyways, you could always ask St. Anthony (patron saint of lost things) to help you find it. Sounds strange but sometimes it works. I'm not religious, and definitely not Catholic. However my mom was and she taught me this. Doesn't hurt to give it a try! Hope you eventually find your dress.

Yes, several times! The only missing thing that I can remember right now is a gray cardigan that I wore all the time and it went missing at some point last year. It's really weird that it hasn't turned up.

Is there anything in your house it could have fallen behind? I have drawers in my closet and somethings things have fallen behind there. Could you have put a coat or something over it on the same hanger?

I sure have! My parents bought me a beautiful bracelet when I graduated from college and one day it was just missing. Unfortunately though, I suspect that one of my less than honest roommates stole it.

My BF's favorite Run DMC tee shirt came up missing as of late though and we are completely flabergasted as to where it could be. It is just us in our place (and if you saw our place you would notice that it is so clean it looks like people with OCD live there; we have the most organized closets EVER), I do our laundry right in our condo, and we certainly don't take our tee shirts to the cleaners. We have searched high and low, but have come up empty handed. It is mind boggling.

I bought a dress in New Orleans way back in day and it's completely missing and has been for years and I have no clue what happened to it. I get sad every summer because it's just the most perfect summer dress.

This has just happened to me. I am embarrassed to admit my 2 year old is still on the bottle, well was until a few days ago! She went to bed with it (bad, I know), and the next day I could not find it anywhere. It was her last bottle since I threw the rest away (tired of washing them!), and I refuse to buy more, so I guess she is forced to stop having her dang bottles!

Anyways, it's so weird, like it magically disappeared.

Yes! I had the most *perfect* black hoodie. It wasn't regular hoodie material, it was almost like it was knitted or crocheted, so it was the warmest thing ever. And it had the most interesting button details at the top and the bottom. And it fit my like a glove. And I have NO IDEA what happened to it. I did move last year, but I'd worn it once or twice since my move so I know it wasn't lost in that. And now I can't find it anywhere. I've searched in all my closets and all my attic space and all over the basement/laundry room and I can't find it anywhere!

A few things. A Barbie doll when I was 9 or so. I looked high and low! I do suspect that the neighbor girl took it.

Two rings which I suspect my brother stole to pawn. These two rings I knew exactly where I set them down and then they were just gone!

I lost a pair of diamond stud earrings my bf gave me for Valentine's Day. I have no idea what happened to them. I've looked everywhere. I'm quite sad about it actually. But he did buy me and awesome pair of diamond hoops the next year, but I still miss the studs.

Yes and it is the most aggravating thing in the whole world. I seriously have started crying when this has happened and I talk about whatever the lost item is so much that my friends all offer to replace whatever it is just so they can stop hearing about it.

I'm having this problem right now actually! I have lost (misplaced?) three pairs of black editor pants. How the heck do you lose three pairs of pants at once? In all fairness, I haven't worn them in a while but seriously...I figured at least ONE would show up! AAAHhh

Well the underpants gnomes better pony up to replace the pairs they stole from me.

Seriously, I got like 12 pair of underwear at the same time a short while ago. 4 colors with 3 styles each, so it is easy to notice what I'm losing (if I have one color of one style and I don't have it in another color, then that one is missing!). I'm now down to like, 5 of them. Where did they go?? That's not something you can just accidentally leave in someone's car or something...
