Okay. My muslin-colored Gap tote/beachbag looks horrible (grungy). It has orange trim and handles (quite summery). I carry it every single day to work. I just carry anything that doesn't belong in my purse.

Bluebirde got me thinking about a new one.

I like the shape of the MJ one and am willing to spend up to the amount that the MJ one costs.

Anyone see anything especially cute/different lately? I would prefer solid or a subtle, tone-on-tone print. Big and sturdy.

Okay - I LOVE this - but she's not selling her stuff. :(

Personally I'm a fan of L.L. Bean's Boat and Totes. Mine is like 4 years old and still looks good. I just wash it whenever I want to clean it.

Have you tried browsing Etsy? If you're into fabric/canvas, I bet there are hundreds that are cute and different.

Do you have a MJ store near you? The one I got is big and roomy and seems pretty sturdy, especially for a tote bag. It comes in all kinds of colors including this awesome burnt orange (but not bright) that I was tempted to get.
